Kenzo 40th Anniversary Collection

40 years ago, in 1970, one of our most favorite fashion houses was founded by the Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. Today, in 2010, the company celebrates the aniversary and to mark this very special event they’ve launched a limited edition collection of products with the label’s signature floral print.

“Forty years of imagination, of surprises, of creativity, color, poetry, and flowers” reads the inscription on the items among which there is a luxurious shopping bag in canvas with leather handles, a cotton T-shirt and a scarf.

The flower print is said to have been taken from a KENZO archive dress dating back to the 1980s. The items aren’t chaep of course. For example, the scarf, which is made of 100% silk and offered in blue, red, cream and black, costs 170 euros in KENZO boutiques.
