CONTEMPORARY DESIGN!

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center / Frank Gehry
This is Frank Gehry's latest project, a $100 million clinic for brain health in Las Vegas.

Much like the Philippe Starck "Louis Ghost Chair", the Aaron R. Thomas "Acrylic Lounge Chair" takes a modern twist on a design classic by re-envisioning it in acrylic. In this case, the classic is the Molded Plywood Lounge Chair, designed by Charles and Eames in 1946.
"Eero Saarinen mid century modern table"
In a 1956 cover story in Time magazine, Eero Saarinen said he was designing a collection to "clear up the slum of legs in the U.S. home." Later that year, he completed his Pedestal Table and Tulip™ Chair Collection. Even today this dinning table look sooo contemporary.

Wine Presentation Cabinet. Nice!
Planter and herb Gardens. Cute!
The innovative designers at Designplus are always coming up with creative products for their commercial clientele, and here is one piece from the "Acrilic Forniture" series done for In House Design.

  1. Would love to know who designed the standing herb planters? Very whimsical!
